Hard luck to our girls’ footballers who were unfortunate to qualify at the indoor CnmB heats earlier today in Healy Park Hall, Omagh! In the group stages, we were up against Eskra and Aghyaran.
The girls produced some great display of football and never stopped trying and they were unlucky not to qualify for the semi finals. We would like to say a huge thank you to Mr Tierney from Christ the King for coordinating today’s football at Healy Park and
congratulations to his team who qualified for the finals’ day in March. We wish them all the best! Thanks also to St. Enda’s, Omagh for hosting and their hospitality, to Dermot Moxon for refereeing the games superbly, and to all the parents who came along to cheer the girls on. Despite not qualifying for the Cumann na mBunscol indoor finals day, the girls can be very proud of the way they played and of the way they conducted themselves throughout the day!!👏🏻🤩
