A heartfelt thank you to Fr Mallon’s niece, Marcella, for her beautiful and thoughtful gift to every one of our Primary 7 children today – a lovingly knitted Easter egg holder and a sweet treat tucked inside. Marcella’s kindness touched us all, and it means so much to the children, especially because they hold Fr Mallon’s memory so close to their hearts. On a regular basis, the pupils from the school pause at his grave to offer a quiet prayer – a small act that speaks volumes about the respect, love and connection they feel to him.
Marcella shared how deeply moved she is by this lovely gesture, and how comforted she feels knowing that Fr Mallon’s spirit lives on through the faith and actions of the children. His memory and legacy are truly woven into the fabric of St. Teresa’s – in our hearts, in our souls, and in the foundations of our school community!
