St Colmcille's Cross Country

We enjoyed a fun and successful morning at St Colmcille's P.S. Cross Country event earlier today. The Spring sunshine provided favourable running conditions for our 28 competitors. Every child ran extremely well, demonstrating passion and commitment, and we are incredibly proud of each of their achievements. Well done to Sally and Cianna who finished in 5th and 10th place respectively in the girls fun run event. Huge congratulations to Niamh and Enda who won the bronze medal in the P5 girls' and boys' races. Well done to Aine and Caela on their 4th and 5th position in the P6 girls race and to Noah on taking the gold in the boys P6 race. Next up was the sprint and relay events which were thrilling to watch. Well done to Aoibhinn and Noah on their fast and furious 400m sprint. Aoibhinn ran exceptionally well but narrowly missed out on the bronze medal.  Congratulations to Noah on winning bronze in his event. We were delighted that our P7 girls relay time consisting of Eabha, Rosemary, Laura and Megan won silver in their race. We were blown away by their speed and team work.
